I am a senior/lead Nuke compositor and digital colorist working in commercials, episodics, and film passionate about developing high-end creative looks. I originally studied fine arts in South Korea, but my desire to learn about film brought me to NYC in 2006, where I received a second BFA in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts (SVA). I have worked on notable projects at post-production companies in New York City for a decade. In 2018, my family and I moved to Minneapolis, and I have been working as a remote visual effects artist for the past two years.

My curiosity about look development led me to learn advanced color and finishing skills using DaVinci Resolve in 2017. I have a color grading/finishing credit on the film Adam Bloom, which is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Working as an assistant colorist, I was fortunate to work on numerous commercials and awarded films such as City of Ghosts and We The Animals, Lambs Become Lions, and the Showtime series The Trade. My skills in Nuke also ended up being an asset for a boutique color house.

During my first winter in Minnesota, I worked remotely on the feature film Five Feet Apart as a lead compositor for a VFX company in NYC. But my favorite part of this line of work is the artistic influence and camaraderie of working with other creatives. My imaginative vision, combined with technical savvy and a broad understanding of post-production workflow, allows me to meet elaborate VFX standards.

Outside of the computer world, I enjoy gardening, painting my daily inspirations, and making pottery. Lately, I've been especially in love with gouache paints.
